August 23 - Avaya Auditorium, POB 2.302 - The University of Texas at Austin
The Center for Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering (CPGE) at the University of Texas at Austin is pleased to host a day-long meeting showcasing the current research being performed within CPGE. Click here to download the agenda (currently v3_070918). Poster abstracts and poster presentation list will be posted at a later date.
Research presentations and posters will span a wide range of topics in subsurface resource characterization and engineering. Graduate students, post-doctoral research fellows, research associates and faculty members will share exciting new discoveries in all aspects of subsurface engineering and characterization.
There are three sessions on the topical areas:
- Unconventional Reservoirs and Fracturing
- Enhanced Oil Recovery
Each session will feature talks by researchers supported by the Center and will be facilitated by a session coordinator. Presentations are 20 minutes each with an additional 5 minutes for questions. In addition, a poster session and reception will be held after the presentations. This will be a great opportunity to meet with the researchers and discuss their current research and future plans.
